This is a very rare Rudraksha in which two beads are naturally joint together, in which one bead is oblong in shape and has One Face and the other bead is round in shape and has many Faces. There is a naturally formed hole in both the beads. If the round bead has Five Faces the bead is called Five Faced Sawar, if the round bead has Fourteen Faces the bead is called a Fourteen Face Sawar, etc. (In Gaurishankar and Garbhgauri Rudraaksha bothe the naturally joint beads are round in shape.) When looking at a Sawar Rudraksha it appears like the One Face bead is “riding” over the other bead and hence this bead was named Sawar Rudraksha. In the round bead any number of Faces can be found but Nine and above faces are rarer. Many times the two naturally joint beads are separated manually and the oblong bead with One Face is sold separately as Nepali one Mukhi. Sometimes the two beads get naturally separated on the tree itself but this is very rare.The Sawar Rudraksha is worn as an alternative to the Nepali One Face Rudraksha.·
