1. Devi Bhagwat

Sanskrit Verse:
एकवक्त्रः शिवः साक्षाद्‌ ब्रह्महत्यां व्यपोहति।
द्विवक्त्रो देवदेव्यो स्याद्‌ विविधं नाशयेदघम्‌॥ १२॥

English Meaning:
The One Mukhi Rudraksha is directly Shiva Himself. It is said to remove even the gravest karmic impurities.

2. Devi Bhagwat 

Sanskrit Verse:
ग्रथितान्मूलमन्त्रेण सर्वानक्षांस्तु धारयेत्‌।
एकवक्त्रस्तु रुद्राक्षः परतत्त्वप्रकाशकः॥ २३॥

परतत्त्वधारणाच्च जायते तत्प्रकाशनम्‌।

English Meaning:
All Rudraksha beads should be worn after being strung and sanctified with the root mantra. The One Mukhi Rudraksha reveals the Supreme Truth. By wearing this Rudraksha connected with Param Tattva, realization of the highest truth arises.

3. Shiva Mahapurana

Sanskrit Verse:
एकवक्त्रः शिवः साक्षाद्भुक्तिमुक्तिफलप्रदः।
तस्य दर्शनमात्रेण ब्रह्महत्यां व्यपोहति॥ ६४॥

यत्र सम्पूजितस्तत्र लक्ष्मीर्दूरतरा न हि।
नश्यन्त्युपद्रवाः सर्वे सर्वकामा भवन्ति हि॥ ६५॥

English Meaning:
The One Mukhi Rudraksha is Lord Shiva Himself and grants both worldly fulfillment and liberation. Even by its sight, grave karmic impurities are removed. Wherever Rudraksha is worshipped, prosperity does not go far from that place; disturbances are destroyed and all noble desires are fulfilled.
