दशवक्रस्तु देवेशः साक्षात् देवो जनार्दनः|
ग्रहाश्च पिशाचाश्च वेताला ब्रह्मराक्षसाः |
पन्नगाश्चचोपशाम्यन्ति दशवक्त्रस्य धारणात्||
- श्रीमद्देवीभाग्वद्पुराण, एकादशस्कन्धः, अध्याय - ४, श्लोक – २३.

“O Lord of the Gods, you must know that the Ten Face Rudraksha is Lord Janardana (Lord Vishnu) himself. The one who wears is freed from the fear and negative effects of all the nine planets, evil disembodied spirits of all kinds who prey on innocent and defenseless humans, and snakes.”

धारणात्तस्य देवेशि सर्वान्कामान वाप्नुयात् ||

“O Maheshani (the Shakti of Shiva – Goddess Parvati), the Ten Face Rudraksha is Lord Janardana (Vishnu) himself. O Queen of Goddesses (Goddess Durga), the one who wears it has all his desires fulfilled.”
