Sanskrit Verse:
अष्टवक्त्रो महासेन साक्षाद्देवो विनायकः॥ १७॥
अन्नकूटं तूलकूटं स्वर्णकूटं तथैव च।
दुष्टान्वयस्त्रियं वाथ संस्पृशंश्च गुरुस्त्रियम्॥ १८॥
एवमादीनि पापानि हन्ति सर्वाणि धारणात्।
विघ्नास्तस्य प्रणश्यन्ति याति चान्ते परं पदम्॥ १९॥
भवन्त्येते गुणाः सर्वे ह्यष्टवक्त्रस्य धारणात्।
English Meaning:
The Eight Mukhi Rudraksha is the direct form of Vinayaka. By wearing it, many karmic impurities are destroyed. The wearer’s obstacles are removed, and ultimately the wearer attains the supreme state.
2. Shrimad Devi Bhagwat Purana
Sanskrit Verse:
अष्टवक्त्रस्तु रुद्राक्षोऽप्यष्टमात्राधिदैवतः॥ ३२॥
वस्वष्टकप्रीतिकरो गङ्घाप्रीतिकरः शुभः।
तद्धारणादिमे प्रीता भवेयुः सत्यवादिनः॥ ३३॥
English Meaning:
The Eight Mukhi Rudraksha is presided over by the Ashta Matrikas. It pleases the Ashta Vasus and the sacred Ganga. By wearing it, these truthful divine beings become pleased.
3. Shiva Mahapurana
Sanskrit Verse:
रद्राक्षश्चाष्टवक्त्रश्च वसुमूर्तिश्च भैरवः।
धारणात्तस्य पूर्णायुर्मृतो भवति शूलभृत्॥ ७३॥
English Meaning:
The Eight Mukhi Rudraksha is connected with Vasu Murti and Bhairava. By wearing it, one receives fullness of life and, after death, attains closeness to Lord Shiva.
4. Shrimad Devi Bhagwat Purana
Sanskrit Verse:
अष्टवक्त्रो महासेन साक्षाद्देवो विनायकः।
विघ्नास्तस्य प्रणश्यन्ति याति चान्ते परं पदम्॥
English Meaning:
O Mahasena, the Eight Mukhi Rudraksha is Lord Vinayaka Himself. The wearer’s obstacles are destroyed, and ultimately the wearer attains the supreme state.

जन्मजन्म न मूर्खः स्यान्नाऽऽतुरो न च नष्टधीः।
अविघ्नं सर्वकार्येषु तस्यैव सततं भवेत्॥
English Meaning:
The wearer of the Eight Mukhi Rudraksha does not remain ignorant, unhealthy, or confused across births. All his works proceed without obstacles.
