द्विवक्त्रस्तु मुनिश्रेष्ठ अर्धनारीश्वरो भवेत्|
धारणादर्धनारीशः प्रीयते तस्य नित्यशः||
- श्रीमद्देवीभाग्वद्पुराण, एकादशस्कन्धः, अध्याय -७, श्लोक – २४.

“(Lord Narayana says to Sage Narada) – O thou best among sages, the Two Face Rudraksha is Lord Ardhanaareeshwar himself and he blesses the wearer of this Rudraksha (meaning the male and female energies are balanced or it can be said that the right and left hemispheres of the brain become harmonized).”

द्विवक्त्र्मनलः साक्षाद्यस्य देहे प्रतिष्ठति |
तस्य जन्मार्जितं पापं दहत्यग्निरिवेन्धनम् ||

“The Two Face Rudraksha is Lord Agni himself. One who wears it on his body is freed from all the sins accumulated in his lifetime just like fire consumes fuel.”
